Notes

The invisible setting allows gemstones to be set side by side, with no claws or other fixing elements visible. The stones are carefully cut and calibrated, fitting concealed within the metal structure. This technique, patented by Van Cleef & Arpels in 1933, demands the highest degree of precision in both cutting and setting execution.

Characteristic of high jewellery, its use reveals not only the jeweller's technical mastery, but also the sophistication and discernment of those who acquire this type of extraordinarily refined jewellery.

The relationship between what we see and what we know is never complete. The way we see things is influenced by what we know, or by what we believe.
