Portuguese silver (833/000) with repoussé, pierced and engraved decoration.
Shaped border, rim with pierced and repoussé decoration with scrolls, cartouches and leaves; engraved with rocaille cartouche. Raised on three repoussé and pierced feet in the rocaille taste.
Porto assay mark in use from 1887 to 1937 and goldsmith's mark of the same period.
