The final price at which the auction closes is known as the hammer price. The buyer’s premium is a fee payable on the hammer price of all lots sold at auction. At MATER, this commission amounts to 19% plus VAT. Please note that if the winning bid was placed via a partner platform, rather than directly on the MATER website, an additional commission may be payable to that platform.
