Can I watch the auction live online?

Yes. On the day of the auction, we will provide a link to the live stream of the auction on our homepage, in the auction calendar and on the auction catalogue pages. If you create an account and register for the auction, you will also be able to bid live online.

How do I register to bid live online?

Create an account with us here, register for the auction and, on the day of the auction, watch and bid live during the auction. Please note that you must register for each auction you wish to take part in. With a MATER account, you can bid live during any auction, as well as place bids by telephone or via an absentee bid before the auction.

How can I bid by telephone or place an absentee bid?

To register to bid by telephone or place an absentee bid, you can either create a user account on our website or contact MATER on 308 812 506.

If you choose to do this directly on our website, create a user account by clicking on the icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen. You will then need to enter the auction of your choice, register to bid and add bids to the lots you are interested in.

When will I know if I have won?

Around 2 hours after the end of the auction session, the results are published on our website. Furthermore, if you win any lots, within 24 hours of the end of all auction sessions, you will receive an invoice by email containing all the necessary information to make payment and collect your lot(s).

What payment methods are available?

Payment must be made within 5 working days of the auction and can be made via ATM, MB WAY, bank transfer or in cash (subject to the limits set out in Article 63-E1 of the General Tax Law).
